Te Kapunga has over three decades of experience in the forestry, wood processing, and manufacturing industries. Presently, he serves as the CEO of Whenua Oho, a consultancy service offering advice and consultancy to Māori landowners, and Interpine Innovation, a company dedicated to integrating cutting-edge technology into today’s forestry practices. Additionally, Te Kapunga holds positions on various Māori Trusts and government advisory groups and presides as the Chair of Nga Pou a Tane – The National Māori Forestry Association. His passion lies in generating economically viable opportunities for Māori Landowners in Forestry
